Storyboard
Casablanca is one of the most notable films in American cinema and I wanted to create a title sequence for it. In order to figure out the pacing, composition, and style that I wanted to encompass, I had to create a storyboard. I wanted to illustrate my scenes as it gave me a lot of control over how I wanted to compose my images. I gathered screencaps from the film to help me figure out the architecture, furnishing, and character designs. I also utilized them to capture specific scenes in the film since they were integral to the film. I later put my storyboard into After Effects to get the pacing right and see what needed to be changed.
